We officially opened the doors to GolfTech Academy on Saturday, 29th November 2025, in a vibrant ceremony attended by golf enthusiasts, industry professionals and notable public figures. Our new home, located just 500 metres from Mamlaka Hill Chapel, along the Northern Bypass next to Isuzu TMD, marks a major milestone for us. With this state-of-the-art studio, we aim to make premium golf technology, expert club services and modern training more accessible to golfers across Nairobi.

We were honoured to have Mr. Larry Ngala, a respected golf writer and Nation Media Group personality, grace the occasion. With over 40 years of covering golf, he is one of Kenya’s most authoritative voices in the sport.

Mr. Ngala joined our founder, Winnie Wangari Ngethe, for the ceremonial ribbon-cutting, an unforgettable moment that symbolised the beginning of a new chapter for golf innovation in Kenya.

Following the ribbon-cutting, Winnie and our team guided guests through an immersive tour of the studio. During the tour, attendees explored our wide range of specialised services, including:

-Custom club fitting

-Regripping services

-Refitting and club repairs

-Golf club building and assembly

-Simulator-based swing analysis

-Technology-assisted player development

Guests also had a chance to try out our high-precision golf simulator, where they received one-on-one guidance from our trained staff. The excitement was evident as visitors experienced firsthand the powerful blend of technology and technique that shapes our approach to improving player performance.

We concluded the event with heartfelt remarks from Winnie, who expressed deep gratitude to everyone who honoured the invitation and supported the vision behind GolfTech Academy.

“This is more than just a studio; it’s a home for golfers at every level,” she said. “We are here to redefine how golf is learned, refined and enjoyed.”

Our successful launch represents our commitment to expanding access to modern golf technology and nurturing a new generation of golfers in Kenya. We look forward to welcoming golfers of all ages and skill levels into growing the game together.
